Elizabeth told me last night that for the first time miss aurora demanded that Clifford be brought out of her cit with her after nap time and brought her all the way downstairs to snuggle with. She loves her short neck giraffe.

That Mandela quote was very timely as I've just been reading an article by a chap called Don Shapiro who was saying something very similar (I think) along the lines of the following:

True positive thinking isn't the absence of negative thoughts - it is human to have these. The real positive thinking comes through embracing reality, but having hope of a better future.

I think I'll be trying to use this myself at work over the next few weeks!
